COMM Instructor Biography

Rev. Robert Hilliard Werthman, MA, CCA

is an ordained interfaith minister and graduate of the Circle of Miracles School of Ministry, holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in Adult Learning & Development from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Rob was involved with the founding of the Circle of Miracles School of Ministry and has continued to teach since its inception.

A Certified Personal Coach, graduate of Coach University, and member of the International Coaching Federation, Rob is also a Usui Reiki Master and certified Hypnotherapist. Rob specializing in life transition coaching in both the private and corporate arenas. He is also a charter member of the National Center for Fathering in Kansas City, Missouri and has conducted programs on positive fathering and parenting.

Completing a thirty-year business career as an Information Technology executive on Wall Street, Rob has now turned his energy and attention to his spiritual journey and collaborating with others on theirs. He and JoEllen, his wife of 39-years have an active wedding ministry and can be found at www.BlessedCeremonies.com.

As a Certified Bereavement Facilitator and member of the American Academy of Bereavement, Rob has integrated bereavement support into memorial and funeral services conducted. He enjoys woodworking, presenting workshops and seminars with his wife JoEllen, walking, the ocean, music and volunteer work.
